This week we are at 1993 miles in Read Across America. This afternoon we learned about money. Three of us spoke on the New Zealand website. We got an answer really quick. Someone must have been up at 7:30 Saturday morning. Did you know that Friday afternoon here is Saturday morning in New Zealand?
We did our vocabulary test in a "special" way. We used our smartboard. Today was a great day. Everyone keep reading, next Friday we need to be at 92 lines.

It was fun to hear your voices on our Voicethread.

Hello Mrs. Sullivan's class!
This is Ben's mom.
I enjoy reading your "blogs" and hearing about what you are doing in your classroom.
It sounds like you are doing some really interesting things and that you have a cool class!
Keep up the great work! I like reading all about it.

Hi Mrs. Sullivan's class!
My name is Mrs. Gates. I'm the librarian at Roosevelt. Some of you may remember me because I was a student teacher when you were in 2nd grade.
I'm going to send the link to your blog to my principal. I'd like him to see how a blog can help students keep in touch with the world.
Good job!
Mrs. Gates
